Restaurant Kuu, or "the Moon" in english, was founded in 1966 with an eye above the clouds. Since the beginning the atmosphere has been described as reminiscent of a continental bistro. Many of our neighbourhood clientele are second generation regulars and we look forward to welcoming the third generation to Kuu as well. 

Located on the quiet corner of Töölönkatu and Kivelänkatu opposite a calm green park, Restaurant Kuu is a place easily reached from the city center. The harmoniously simple interior gives a relaxed comfortable feel. Our year round glass walled terrace is favoured by those who enjoy being close to nature.

Our kitchen offers a range of Finnish classics and Scandinavian dishes with a modern touch. Chef Lukas Hemnell presents the best ingredients available prepared to accentuate their natural flavors served with an uncomplicated aesthetic balance. Kuu's wine list is extensive; some wines are found from our wide web of suppliers, though most wines are our own import allowing us to keep prices down. Pure sublime flavors, and value for money is our goal.
